The hectic DJI launch schedule we’ve seen so far in 2025 is showing no signs of slowing down: the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 vlogging camera could be the next gadget to break cover, and we’ve got some fresh rumors around its potential specs.
As per New Camera, rounding up several leaks from around the web and social media, multiple sources are now reporting that the camera will use a dual-lens setup – which could mean simultaneous rear recording for reaction videos and a broader range of format options.
That fits in with an earlier leak from last month, which offered some rather low-quality (and potentially AI-generated) images showing what seemed to be a second camera lens or depth sensor, alongside a second screen. The indications are that this’ll be a significant upgrade over the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (which is very impressive itself).
A new 50MP camera sensor from OmniVision could be an ideal candidate for that second lens inside the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, according to Notebookcheck. It offers a high level of performance, but crucially, it’s also compact and easier to squeeze into the smaller space offered by a camera casing like this.

The New Camera team floats the idea that we might get several different variants of the vlogging camera this time around, perhaps a Pro model with a dual-lens camera and a standard model that sticks to a single lens.
Video quality up to 4K/240fps and 1080p/240fps is expected with the Pocket 4, up from a maximum of 4K/60fps on its immediate predecessor. In terms of scheduling, the rumors are pointing towards a launch before the end of the year.
This same source also notes that DJI is likely to face a lot of competition in this space as we head into 2026. Previous leaks have indicated that GoPro is working on a similar device, which could see the light of day soon, and Canon, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi are all rumored to be getting involved in pocket gimbal cameras next year too.
That’s good news for consumers of course, as it will mean there’s more choice than ever when it comes to the best vlogging camera – but DJI is going to be keen to get ahead of its rivals with the Pocket 4. For reference, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 launched two years ago, in October 2023.
