- More Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-fold leaks have appeared
- We can see multitasking features and a 100x camera zoom

We’ve been patiently waiting for a tri-fold phone from Samsung ever since it was first teased back in January, and with the wait now seemingly almost over, we’re getting more leaks around what to expect from this high-end flagship.
Fresh pictures from tipster @TechHighest – the same source that has previously posted graphics of this phone – give us a better idea of how multitasking is going to be handled through the software on board the handset.
It seems that some apps will be able to be used as smaller floating windows on top of others, while the transition between main screen and cover screen looks pretty seamless. You’ll be able to carry on working with the same apps as you open and close the phone.
Given there are two hinges rather than one, that’s quite an achievement by the Samsung team, to put together an experience that looks so smooth. These animations show an inward-folding handset with two displays, which matches earlier rumors.

One of the more surprising graphics shown here hints at digital zoom levels of 100x, which would put the phone in the same category as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – perhaps with the same 200MP primary camera lens on the back.
To date, the cameras on Samsung’s foldable phones – including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – have been rather disappointing. This could be a serious step up in terms of the photo and video capturing capabilities.
There are further animations showing how Samsung DeX and Galaxy AI are going to work on the upcoming tri-fold. If Samsung’s trademark applications are any guide, it looks as though this device will be called the Galaxy Z Tri-fold.
So, when are we actually going to see it? Some rumors have pointed to a launch event as early as next week, though it may not be available to buy for a while – and even then, we might see a rollout limited to China and South Korea.
