I’m writing this article in June 2025, and with all that I do, I have never had more virtual meetings in my average workday than I do today. I constantly jump between virtual meetings, in-person meetings, projects, tasks, phone calls, Slack, and more. However, a large portion of many people’s day-to-day lives is spent on virtual meetings. It elevated my otherwise mediocre virtual presence, which was limited to my main desk, to a whole new level.
