Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 gets a jaw-dropping $700 discount for Black Friday – and that’s not even the best part

Samsung just beat Amazon at its own game by smashing the previous best-ever price for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – and it’ll give you double the storage for no extra cost. That means you can get a 512GB Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 for $1,399.99 at Samsung.com – down from $2,199.99.

The previous best price we’ve seen for the Z Fold 7 was at Amazon, where the 256GB model was $1,584.99 – the retail giant currently sells the foldable for $1,599.99. This Samsung deal utterly demolishes that previous best discount, and everything else out there, so this is one you don’t want to miss.

If you have an old phone to trade in, you could snag additional cost savings of up to $1,000 – though only expect the max amount if you have something like a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra going spare.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is my daily driver and the best phone I’ve ever used.

Unfolded, the massive inner display is comparable to a tablet, and I love using it to write, read comic books, watch shows, or play games – thanks to the giant space it affords. I play a lot of digital chess, and the tablet-like screen size is so much easier to play on than a regular phone screen.

When folded, the outer screen remains a good size, with an aspect ratio and dimensions similar to those of other modern handsets. Best of all, thanks to learnings from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, this thing is really thin – when it’s folded, it’s very hard to tell that this is anything other than a normal phone, which also means it’s light and easy to handle.

The cameras are solid, too. While not quite on par with the best camera phones I’ve still got some fantastic snaps with the triple-lens setup this device boasts – which includes a 200MP main sensor.

Basically, this phone feels like the first 1.0 foldable: a device with a lot of great features and no serious drawbacks – a feeling that’s especially true right now, thanks to this Black Friday deal that cuts a third off the price.
