The excellent Samsung Galaxy S25 has just received a surprise discount at Amazon, just a few days ahead of the retailer’s second major Prime Day sale. You can currently pick up the entry-level 128GB model for $689.99 (was $799) at Amazon, which is a price that beats the previous record by $20.
Discounts on the Galaxy S25 series haven’t exactly been rare in recent months, but this is definitely a superb deal if you’re simply looking to buy an unlocked device upfront. It’s a price that makes the S25 a whole lot cheaper than the brand new iPhone 17, which is impressive considering the S25 is an incredible device in its own right.
Our Samsung Galaxy S25 review was somewhat mixed. We love the chipset, design, and cameras, but we thought Samsung played it a little too safe with the device. With today’s deal at Amazon, however, there’s no doubt that it’s an extremely solid buy for the money, considering you’re getting specs like the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset that’s featured on the more premium S25 devices.
Record-low Galaxy S25 deal at Amazon
Note that you can also trade-in for up to $650 in store credit at Amazon alongside the above upfront discount. Unlike other retailers, this isn’t a discount on the device, however, so it’s not quite as good as a trade-in at Samsung or one of the major carriers.
If you are looking to trade in, then consider checking out Samsung’s current deal on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which I’ve attached just below.
