If you tend to swap and change between the best streaming services from month to month, depending on what’s available, then I recommend you consider signing up for Apple TV in November 2025.
The headline new release that you won’t want to miss is Vince Gilligan’s next TV show, but there’s also fresh seasons for returning series, like the 60s mystery drama Palm Royale, natural history docuseries Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age, and sci-fi fantasy kids animation WondLa, alongside two new movies, making a subscription to the service more than justified.
Pluribus
Director: Vince Gilligan
Run time: 50 minute episodes
Arriving on: November 7
Did you enjoy Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul? Well, there’s a good chance you’re going to love Vince Gilligan’s next TV show, Pluribus. But don’t expect any more crime or methamphetamine, because the screenwriter is going back to his roots – sci-fi.
Gilligan got his big break working on the supernatural drama X-Files, so it’s unsurprising that the new Apple TV series will also feature “all the horror movie tropes”, according to an interview with the creator.
Feeling confused about what type of show Pluribus is? The show’s synopsis about the most miserable person on Earth trying to stop a global phenomenon that makes everyone happy is no less revealing, but then the mystery is all part of the fun.
Palm Royale season 2
Showrunner: Abe Sylvia
Run time: 50 minute episodes
Arriving on: November 12
Ready to step back into the glitz and glamour of 1960s Palm Beach? Great, because Palm Royale returns for season 2 with even more scandalous intrigue, unexpected twists, and jaw-dropping mysteries than the first installment.
Kristen Wig reprises her role as the fabulous Maxine Delacourt, who’s still trying to prove to high society that she belongs – even though the town has more secrets and lies than a Beverly Hills cocktail party. So, pour yourself a Grasshopper and prepare for the drama.
Come See Me in the Good Light
Director: Ryan White
Run time: 1 hour and 44 minutes
Arriving on: November 14
Get the tissues ready for this one – Come See Me in the Good Light is a deeply moving new documentary about poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley that looks set to rip your heart out with its story about love, art, and resilience in the face of an incurable cancer diagnosis.
While it might sound like a tough watch, at its core, this is a love story filled with unexpected laughter, tenderness, and moments of pure uplifting joy. Don’t just take my word for it, either, since premiering at the Sundance Film Festival at the start of the year, it has had 100% on Rotten Tomatoes from the critics.
The Family Plan 2
Director: Simon Cellan Jones
Run time: 1 hour and 46 minutes
Arriving on: November 21
Apple TV is kicking off the Christmas cheer with Mark Wahlberg back in action, and in over his head, in The Family Plan 2. The sequel is set to pick up directly from the first film, with former deadly assassin turned father of three Dan Morgan once again trying to keep his identity hidden and family safe.
Michelle Monaghan reprises her role as his unsuspecting wife and will be joined by newcomer Kit Harington, who plays a mysterious figure from Dan’s past with unfinished business. Cue a scenic European holiday broken up by bank heists and car chases.
Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age season 3
Creator: Jon Favreau
Run time: 30–45 minute episodes
Arriving on: November 26
Ever wondered what towering woolly mammoths and elusive snow sloths would’ve looked like during the Ice Age? Soon, you won’t just have to use your imagination because the latest scientific research and CGI have brought to life this frozen world in the next installment of Apple TV’s Prehistoric Planet series.
This stunning natural history docuseries promises to bring us another breathtaking look at prehistoric life – this time visualizing life millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, season 3 will take us to the onset of the ‘Big Freeze’ in what’s bound to be another fascinating watch.
WondLa season 3
Showrunner: Bobs Gannaway
Run time: 22 minute episodes
Arriving on: November 26
This one’s for the little ones – Apple TV’s hit sci-fi fantasy animation WondLa is set to return in November, with a third season that promises to deliver even more magical creatures and hidden secrets than what we’ve already seen.
In this final chapter, Eva must recapture the stolen Heart of the Forest if she’s going to stop the war between humans and aliens, and once and for all save the planet Orbona. Will she be able to bring peace to the world? A lot is riding on this next adventure.
